About Tyrese Rowe

Tyrese Rowe is a recent graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. His passion for writing began with a desire to get to “the root of the human condition.” His artistic influences are Peggy Cooper Cafritz, Edward P. Jones, August Wilson, Audre Lorde, Toni Morrison and James Baldwin to start. With the encouragement of his mentor, Mr. Williams, and guidance of YPT Artistic Director Farah Lawal Harris, Tyrese has chosen to take this journey with YPT.
