Teaching Artists

"A teaching artist is a practicing professional artist with the complementary skills and sensibilities of an educator, who engages people in learning experiences in, through, and about the arts." -Eric Booth

Young Playwrights’ Theater (YPT), the only professional theater in Washington, DC dedicated entirely to arts education, seeks a highly motivated, experienced and energetic Teaching Artist for several Spring and Summer Programs in elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the DMV area.
