Collaborations

Young Playwrights’ Theater often collaborates with theaters, museums, and other institutions to create timely works, highlighting the voices of DC students in some of Washington’s most prestigious venues.

Prestigious Partnerships

YPT has partnered with organizations such as the Smithsonian Institution, The Holocaust Museum, Woolly Mammoth Theater, The White House Historical Association and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to develop new plays that reflect the diverse voices of DC youth.

In-Depth Investigations

Through our long-term partnerships with schools and community organizations, YPT is well positioned to lead students in artistic explorations of various topics, creating a series of in-class workshops that are rewarding for the schools and insightful for our artistic partners.
