Right now, federal and local budget cuts threaten the arts in classrooms across the nation, and we are forced to ask ourselves:
Does it matter?
Does it matter if students know how to express themselves and think outside the box? To innovate and think critically - and engage the world with their ideas?
At YPT, we believe it does. And we know you do too.
YPT is facing deep cuts to federal, local and foundation funding in the coming school year. These cuts would mean hundreds of students would miss out on the YPT experience next year - hundreds of students who may never have the chance to learn how much their ideas can matter to the world.
