As Young Playwrights’ Theater enters our 15th year of providing the best in arts education to DC Area students, we invite you to join us in celebrating how far we’ve come, and dreaming with us about how far we can go, together.

The impact that YPT has on our community is deep and enduring.  For many of our students, YPT is their first experience with an interactive, creative writing process. And YPT teaching artists are often the first adults to show these students that their dreams, ideas and beliefs are valuable and can have a powerful impact on the world around them.

What kind of gift will you give to our young playwrights?

We encourage you to make a gift that is personally significant to you. Please know that each and every dollar you give will make a big difference in the lives of DC area students. Let the giving levels below help you decide:

	Courage  $1 - $99 (or about $10 per month)  Helps supply students with the materials they need to create for a full semester, including paper, writing supplies and materials for costumes and props. Donors at this level receive a letter of thanks, two tickets to the annual New Play Festival and a YPT bumper sticker.
	Imagination $100 - $249 (or about $20 per month) Helps provide a classroom of students with their first playwriting workshop. Donors at this level receive all of the above, plus a signed copy of one student-written play.
	Creativity  $250 - $499 (or about $40 per month) Brings actors into a YPT classroom to rehearse and perform every student’s play in that class. Donors at this level receive all of the above, plus a limited edition YPT tote bag.
	Insight  $500 - $999 (or about $80 per month) Helps underwrite one New Writers Now! performance. Donors at this level receive all of the above, plus a copy of the new children’s book based on the YPT play Chasing George Washington: A White House Adventure, with a special introduction by Michelle Obama.
	Inspiration  $1000 and up (or about $100+ per month) Helps provide twelve in-school playwriting workshops to a classroom of students. Donors at this level receive all of the above, plus a visit to a classroom to see the YPT In-School Playwriting Program in action and meet some of our young playwrights.
